Iris is one of the noblest materials in perfumery. It enhances all other materials. The quality of an iris is determined by its iron content, which can range from 3% to 85% for the highest qualities.
Ylang-ylang means "flower of flowers" in the Philippines. In Indonesia, ylang-ylang flowers are spread on the bed of newlyweds. Associated with the second chakra, it relaxes and gives a sense of security.
Vanilla is sweet, soothing, and relaxing. A spice from the Orchidaceae family, it is primarily produced in Madagascar.
