Aimée's Garden

Protect the historical and natural heritage

Recognized since Celtic times for its healing properties, the Saint-Genulphe source (also called "the source of Aimée") has been a major place of pilgrimage since the 12th century.
Located in the Loiret, on the lands of Aimée in Montcresson, it is today at the heart of the association Le Jardin d'Aimée.

His first project: planting the first DAMASCENA rose bushes intended for producing rose essential oil.

It is on her family's land, in Loiret, that Valérie Demars, president of the association Le Jardin d'Aimée, wanted to create a place for sharing around agroecology and reconnecting with plants.

"Planting roses is for me an act of love, the one I wish to offer to the world."

Valérie Demars.

OUR PROJECTS

  • TRAINING COURSES (starting from September 2023)

We are creating a place of peace and serenity, where fragrant plants can thrive in complete tranquility. We want to share this unique olfactory experience with everyone through workshops on perfume making, from the plant to the finished product. We will also offer training in permaculture, phytotherapy, and aromatherapy to raise visitors' awareness of the benefits of plants and their use in our daily lives.

  •

    I CHOOSE A ROSEBUSH

Adopt a Damascena rose seedling and offer the Earth and Humanity its fragrance of love. You will be its godfather or godmother and receive updates about it. This plant project aims to produce organic Damascena Rose essential oil, a first in France since Grasse.

  • PERMACULTURE / EDUCATIONAL GARDEN

Our association's mission is to promote agriculture that respects the environment and health. In this context, we have decided to restore soils depleted by conventional farming and to protect the water quality of the Saint-Genulphe spring.
